Jennifer M. Gooss

Jennifer M. Gooss grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Philosophy from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2007. She went on to receive her Juris Doctor from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William S. Boyd School of Law in 2011. In 2016, Jennifer received her SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification for Human Resources.

While in law school, Jennifer participated in the Community Service Program preparing and conducting workshops providing legal information to unrepresented people in the area of family law. After law school, she began working at Christensen Law Office in Las Vegas, NV, representing clients in personal injury, wrongful death, insurance bad faith, and civil litigation. She then served as City Attorney for the City of Dickinson, before joining Solem Law Office in 2016 as an associate attorney.

Jennifer practices primarily in family law and municipal government law, representing clients in divorces, parenting rights, guardianship, adoptions, criminal prosecution, and serving as assistant city attorney for the cities of Beulah, Hebron, Mercer, Stanton, and Zap. She also practices in the areas of energy law, contracts, civil litigation, personal injury, employment law, and some criminal defense.

When she is not working, Jennifer is spending time with her husband and their four children. She enjoys cooking, baking, crafts, swimming, canoeing, fishing, and camping. She is the Secretary and Treasurer of the Lignite Veteran's Memorial Park Foundation, and a director of the Dakota Walleye Classic.
